The PCL was established in November 1946 under the Indian Companies Act VII 1913. Its objective was to foster a spirit of comradeship and afford facilities for playing both in-door and out-door sports.

The West Lawn offers an open, sea facing ambience, for a quiet cup of tea/coffee and tasty snacks. Space is also available for holding parties up to 12-16 members and guests.
